Times have changed very much since your grandparents married. Nowadays the trend is to make much more of a deal of the whole wedding as an event. It’s not unusual to be invited to a ceremony taking place in the late morning or early afternoon, followed by a drinks reception and canapés, a wedding breakfast, the speeches and cake cutting.
Then there’s a short break – maybe some afternoon tea and the arrival of the evening guests when the whole event restarts with probably another drinks reception and dancing. That could be a whole 10 hours of keeping guests happy from the moment they arrive at the church until they leave around midnight.

Wedding Breakfast
It is recommended to allow between 2 - 2 and a half hours for the wedding breakfast and speeches. It can vary dependent upon the number of meals and also the menu. It is suggested that you leave 45minutes – 1 hour to turn the room from your Wedding Breakfast to an Evening Party Celebration Room. Many people use our kind of entertainment to be an icebreaker after the wedding breakfast and before evening guests arrive for your reception. This is an ideal opportunity to provide some fun and get your guests interacting, and getting to know each other alongside some friendly competition.
Evening Reception
When your evening guests are arriving through the early part of the evening, our fun casino will provide some fun and variety to your reception and get people moving. After all not everyone wants to or can dance! More often than not, a casino runs alongside a DJ or band – sometimes even in the same room. As the bride or groom, you’re often very busy meeting and greeting, so the fact that you’ve thought of some extra entertainment for your guests will go down very well.
When you contact us to chat about dates and times that you’d like the casino to be a part of your day, we’ll make extra sure that you get the best timing for your day. There are popular times of day like 6-9, or 7-10 or 8-11....but it’s for you and your groom to decide what works best for you, and we are more than happy to fit in with whatever you decide.
